Don't even think of applying to law school without this!

Why is this book of such importance in applying to law school? What information can I find here that I cannot find elsewhere?
ReplyDeletewhich portion of the lsat would you recommend spending the most time on?
ReplyDeleteI'm not an LSAT expert - as a director of admissions I was trained to interpret LSAT scores but I am not an LSAT tutor. For LSAT advice, see http://www.integratedlearning.net/lsat/blog.asp
ReplyDeleteisn't the lsat interpreted as high score = good.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure this was a rhetorical comment, but all admission directors are trained by LSAC and the ABA (as well as by keeping up with studies performed on the subject) regarding the limits of the exam, who is disadvantaged on the exam and why, the meaning of score bands, multiple scores, relation to bar passage and first year grades, etc.
ReplyDeleteHi! Law School Expert,
ReplyDeletewhat exactly do we do during your free initial consultation?
Call me and find out! I will cater the consultation to whatever you need.
ReplyDeleteis an early graduation from a 4 year college disadvantageous to the applicant?

ReplyDeletereferring to your initial consultation - how much time do you spend on the initial consultation?
ReplyDeleteNot if you have great grades! One of my clients this year finished college in 3 years and has already been admitted to Columbia.
ReplyDeleteAbout the book - I didn't mean to ignore you question, but replying thoughtfully to comments takes time and my clients are my priority. Thanks for being patient.
ReplyDeleteThis book has information about every school in one tangible and trustworthy place, including - for most schools - graphs of who has been admitted in the past (by chart) and is much more detailed than on-line admission calculators.
Re: Initial Consultations - it's usually about 20 minutes but I don't get out a stop watch. I find out about you and I tell you how I would tailor my services to your needs/goals/issues. I answer questions about what I will do to assist you through the process and we get to know each other to make sure we would work well together. No appointment is necessary; you can call me anytime.
